I sei artisti, selezionati dalla curatrice Inger Wästberg, ed esposti nella White Room di Palazzo Mocenigo ( fino al 1 ottobre 2017, bit.ly/transformationmocenigo), hanno portato al museo di San Stae le tendenze più attuali nella gioielleria artistica contemporanea. Le loro opere si associano a idee sulla natura, sul corpo e l'ambiente, sulla bellezza, la morte e il lutto, senza escludere il rapporto simbiotico con la loro terra e senza eludere questioni che agitano la società contemporanea su tematiche come il gender, l’ambiente, il consumismo.
The six jewellery artists selected by curator Inger Wästberg are currently on display within the White Room at Palazzo Mocenigo (until October 1st, 2017; more info at bit.ly/Transformationmocenigo ). Their works are linked to ideas about nature, body and environment, beauty, death and mourning and they comment socially on gender, consumering and recycling.
